Setting Up Your First Stream

Your stream is your stage. Here’s how to configure it perfectly.

Pre-Stream Setup

Before going live, you'll see a setup screen with these options: - Title: A catchy title for your stream. This is important for AI clustering. - Tags: Add relevant tags (e.g., Gaming, Art, Music, LiveCoding). The more accurate, the better our AI can recommend your content. - Visibility: - Public: Anyone can watch. - Private: Only people you invite can watch. - Token-Gated: Only users holding a certain amount of $SCOO (or another token) can watch. - Filter Effects: Access your library of saved WebGL filter presets (Beauty, AR, Color Correction) to apply them to your stream.

Post-Stream Summary

After you end a stream, you'll get a performance summary including: - Peak Viewers - Average Viewers - Total $SCOO Earned from Gifts - New Followers - Chat Activity Metrics

Monetization: Gifting & Rewards

SCOO offers a direct and transparent monetization loop that empowers creators with fair revenue sharing.

Web3 Gifting

  • Fans use $SCOO to send animated gifts during your stream.
  • Each gift is an on-chain transaction.
  • You receive 70% of every gift, instantly.
  • The transaction is settled on the Base network, meaning it's fast and cheap.

Viewer Rewards

You can incentivize engagement by enabling viewer rewards for your stream. - How it works: Our backend tracks viewer activity (watch time, chat messages, etc.) and allocates them an off-chain reward balance. - Claiming: Viewers can periodically claim their earned $SCOO. The backend provides a secure signature, and the viewer pays a small gas fee to execute the claimRewards function on our smart contract. This "relayer" pattern means the platform funds the rewards without high costs.

This dual system rewards both direct support (gifting) and sustained attention (rewards).
